Since I believe that the BeachBody videos are so amazing and a great value for the price we pay, I decided to start a thread that focuses on one BeachBody program a week.

This week my focus will be the POWER 90 series, since it is the program I am currently doing.

In my opinion, Turbo Jam is one of the funnest videos series on the market. There are now over 15,00 instructors all over the world. People just absolutely love the moves and really see wonderful results.

We are so blessed to have the maker of Turbo JamChalene Johnson be a part of our BeachBody community. Chalene is a mom of 2 and she invented TJ about 10 years ago just for herself because she didn't feel comfortable in her clothes. She has been involved in fitness all her life but never was real good at dancing or martial arts, though she took classes. She loved music though, so she wanted to make an unconventional workout that would make her WANT her to look forward to working out everyday. She started teaching it at a club and the word started to spread; eveyone wanted to try it. Before long they had about a thousand people doing it in OC and then it started spreading across the U.S. and now, as I mentioned before, there are like 15,000 instructors all over the world. I don't think Chalene ever dreamed that her workout would become this popular when she first invented it!

Turbo Jam is a lot of fun. BeachBody offers several different Turbo Jam series, but I would recommend that you start out with the beginner one: Turbo Jam Maximum Results. In this series she will teach you the moves and you will learn how to dance and move in a way that will help you shed pounds and get fit in a superFUN way.

Yes... I did the back and legs DVD this morning!! Great workout!! There are 12 different DVDs in the series so you can focus on a particular part of your body, depending on what your fitness goals are. If it's overall fitness and/oir weightloss, follow the program as they have it is outlined. You can actually have the system tell you which DVD to play on which day and it will also shedule your rest days.

You would definitely really enjoy the P90X workout series. You can work at your own level/pace and you write down what you do each day, so you can watch your endurance progress, as your body changes. Great program, for sure. I highly recommend it.

Los Angeles, CA— At the 51st Annual Grammy Awards, singer-songwriter and musician Sheryl Crow revealed how she stays in such extraordinary shape, and described a typical week of workouts. During a red carpet interview with E! Presenter Giuliana Rancic at the most prestigious music awards event in the world, Crow made known her fitness secrets.

"I need to ask for all the ladies out there—you are in such terrific shape, Sheryl," said Rancic. "What is a typical week like for you as far as working out? And don't tell me 'nothing!'" she chided.

"I used to be a runner, I used to run all the time," said Crow, whose albums have charted the top 10 and who has won nine Grammy awards. "But since Wyatt came, I've gotten kind of lax about it." Wyatt is Crow's young son.

"Recently, a friend turned me on to this P90X, it's a workout series—it's ninety days. It's every different kind of muscle group—Pilates and yoga and weightlifting too...IT'S JUST EVERYTHING!" said Crow. Then E! Entertainment's Rancic asked, "Can anyone do it?"

Crow replied, "Yes, anyone can do it! Anyone!"

Before pairing back up with Ryan Seacrest, her coanchor for the Grammy Awards, Rancic advised one thing for her viewers: "Google it! P90X! Google it!" said Rancic, who added that she herself was always "looking to do something good."

Looking incredibly svelte and fit in her unbelievably slinky gown from an Australian designer, Sheryl Crow then turned back toward the excited roar of the Grammy crowd.

I started the ChaLEAN Extreme program today. I took my pictures and measurements last night, with my husband's help, and this morning I did the BURN - Circuit 1. It's an amazing workout and I look forward to continuing the program the rest of the 90 days.

The program is laid out nicely for us, and so I know exactly what program to do every day. It's awesome!! The books that come with the DVDs are fabulous as well. The program is definitely nicely set up for all people, no matter what fitness level we are in. I am glad I picked this program for my 90-day challenge.
