importance of combining fat-soluble antioxidants with fish oilViews: 593

You have probably read about all the benefits that an omega-3 supplement can give you. However, Dr. Mercola says,"as you increase your intake of essential fatty acids like omega-3, you also increase your need for fat-soluble antioxidants. Why? Because fish oil is extremely perishable, and the antioxidants will ensure that the fish oil doesn't oxidize and become rancid in your body."

Does your omega-3 supplement contain antioxidants to make it non-rancid? If not, then you are wasting your money on it. Invest your money in one that does. Dr. Mercola's brand does, of course, and so does Young Living's Omega Blue brand. Choose one of these to get the full benefit of your omega-3 fish oil.

Here is an e-brochure about Young Living's brand called Omega Blue, if you are interested in researching it: http://www.youngliving.us/pdfs/PIP_OmegaBlue.pdf. You can research Dr. Mercola's brand on his site at Mercola.com
