A friend of mine from church told me about a fantastic website he learned about from a Costco magazine. The site is all about belly fat, how bad it is for us, how we can measure it and how to lose it. Click here to watch the video: http://www.jorgecruise.com
Here are some tips that he gives: 1. Know your outcome 2. Believe 3. Make it a lifestyle 4. Know it's never too late
Jorge Cruise has been helping people for 10 years now and his video and his advice, and all the resources he gives on his site, are great. Take a look by clicking on the link above. Watch the video and get the report. Fantastic information!!
Have a fabulous day!!

According to this month's Health magazine:
#1 Flat Belly Drink
*Peppermint and ginger tea because they keep your digestive system running smoothly.
*Sip some everyday to banish bloat.
*Enjoy your tea hot or over ice.
*After lunch, drink at least 8 ounces of caffeine free peppermint tea.
*Before bed, drink at least 8 ounces of caffeine free ginger tea.
*In addition to tea, down 48 ounces of water throughout the day - it will reduce water retention and keep your metabolism revved up.
Instead of herbal tea, I use 1-2 drops of peppermint or ginger therapeutic-grade essential oil added to water. Essential oils have 50-100 times more oxygenating molecules and antioxidants than the equivalent amount of the herb.

This seems to be the first generation with this. My theory is that it is all the trans fats that were in our foods and fast foods. What do you think? Private Reply to Karen Sweeney-Ryall | Mar 27, 2009 11:28 pm | | re: re: Belly Fat | # | Mirdza Hayden | | Peppermint oils is definitley amazing!! It's so cool that 1 drop of thereapeutic-grade peppermint oils has the potency of 25 cups of peppermint tea!! I really love putting just 1 drop in my 20 oz water bottle and sipping it. Not only is it soothing to my stomach and makes my digestion smoother so I avoid bloating, like you mentioned, it also makes my breath smell soooo fresh. Plus, research has shown that peppermint is good for the teeth, so swishing through my mouth is something that is very nice to do and I know is helping my teeth =)

I remember I did't have a video games, a computer or T.V when I was growing up and I tended to go out to play with my friends on my block a whole lot more. The types of foods we eat and the amount of exercise we do makes a huge difference in our life.

To get rid of it, we need to eat foods that are LOW in sugar and processed white flour, which turns into sugar. Cutting out carbs is not a good idea; we NEED carbs, but the right type of carbs... whole grains and sprouted grains. By learning to eat right, we can lose belly fat.
